SASSA will be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it can be alarmed regarding the large range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the area regularly. The provider level produced for intervention activities a large inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it tough for the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service here point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to allow the servicing of all prospects and enhance access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
